Account Team in Salesforce is used when multiple Reps work on the same account together for example selling(Sales).

In a Private Sharing Model on the Account object, Account Team grants Account Record access to other users who are not the owner of the Account.

1. Go to Setup and enable Account Teams.

2. Add Account Team related list to the Account page layout.
